We enjoyed a wonderful meeting with Toad and Sew Taylor Krz presenting her trunk show and sharing the story of her quilting life. what a colorful inspiration she was. Taylor later taught a color class and will present another class on one of her patterns the day after the meeting.

Taylor shared a Trunk Show of her very dynamic and bold quilts. Each one was more spectacular than the previous. And I loved her story about the Artemis & Fowl pattern. Be sure to check out her Mystery Quilt and Book Club event, join the Circle.

After our speaker we got to meet the next Charity organization that we will be collecting quilts for. A representative from foster sucess dropped by to tell us about the help they provide to foster kids aging out of the system. We will collect quilts for foster success in September. They are in need of hygiene items for their clients, please consider making a donation if you are able.

We had 17 blocks returned for the July BOM, so 2 lucky winners took home some blocks to make something with. Check out the information on our 2026 BOM A Year Of Stars on the website, under Members: BOM.

Be sure to check out the Calendar or the Newlsetter for all the Upcoming Events, one of note is the Annual Brickyard race on July 20th at Community North. Kits will be available for anyone who wants to participate. Reserve your spot by going to the Events page and RSVP there.
We will have snacks, prizes, and fun trivia, while we race to the finish. Thank you to Sandy M, Laurie F, and Sally S for all their work in preparing kits for the event.
And now for the best part of the monthly meetings, Show N' Tell! Look at all these lovely quilts just waiting for their moment on stage.
